MILWAUKEE -- Back before they moved the "Big A" to the edge of the Angel Stadium parking lot and turned it into a makeshift marquee, it was planted just beyond the left-field wall, where it served as the ballpark's primary scoreboard.
It was a good thing the Dodgers never played regular-season games there in those days, because the halo probably would have come loose and fallen on top of their left fielder.
As it is, that is about the only imaginable misfortune that hasn't come crashing down on the Dodgers during their annual in-season visits to Anaheim. And while they will take a bit of momentum into this year's series, ...
