HONIARA, May 20 Asia Pulse - The outgoing Governor of the Solomon Islands' Central Bank Rick Hou says its very unlikely that the country will manage without the assistance of the international development partners, reports SIBC.

Mr Hou said the level of donor support to Solomon Islands has not only increased but also diversified in the last 30 years.

He said it was encouraging that the help had increased to the extent that such assistance was used for the greater and longer term benefit of the country. However, Mr Hou said an off-shoot of donor support appeared to have prevailed in recent years.
