IT was the big rum our doing the rounds at the Cannes Festival last week, that George Clooney was turning to Wales for his next movie project.
More specifically, the buzz on La Croisette was that Oscar-winning Hollywood heartthrob had chosen a novel by Cardiff author Jon Ronson for his latest starring role.
And now, according to the showbiz industry bible Variety, Ronson's 2004 novel The Men Who Stare At Goats will see Clooney appear in the strange-but-true tale of the First Earth Battalion, a secret US military unit set up during the Cold War ...
