TALENTED teenager Freddie Meikle hit the lowest gross score of the weekend to win Leighton Buzzard Golf Club's May medal competition.
The Milton Keynes-based five-handicap golfer was master class as he made a mockery of the tough conditions to post a nett 65 and win his division by two shots from committee man John Preston.
Kilted Scot Brian Wilson had a similar score to win the Division Two title with a two shot margin over Lewis Scott, while double glazing expert Barry Wills took the Division Three title with a nett 66.
The Sunday event produced a Division One win for upholsterer Nigel Watmough, with Duncan Smith taking the Division Two title ...
