Almost all UC RUSAL enterprises reduce net profit in Q1
MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Most of the enterprises that make up United Company RUSAL saw their unconsolidated financial results under Russian accounting standards (RAS) slip in the first quarter of 2008 compared to the same period of 2007, the company said in a report.
RUSAL Krasnoyarsk reduced net profit almost 50% to 1.341 billion rubles in the quarter and sales revenue 6% to 9.479 billion rubles. The plant increased net profit 21% in 2007 to 8.068 billion rubles.
RUSAL Bratsk reduced sales revenue 15.8% to 7.134 billion rubles in the quarter and net profit 47% to 1.042 billion rubles. ...
