BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- QSOUND LABS, INC. and Crystal Semiconductor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cirrus Logic, Inc., today announced a licensing agreement to integrate QSOUND LABS' QXPANDER stereo-to-surround technology in a new generation of Crystal single-chip audio subsystems. QSOUND LABS' patented 3D audio technology is designed for a diverse range of applications, including multimedia computers, consumer electronics, electronic gaming, home theater and professional sound products. Crystal's audio subsystem that integrates the QXPANDER technology is targeted primarily for PC multimedia applications.
