WEDNESDAY, noon: Leicestershire returned to the A division of county hockey on home ground at Melton Hockey Club.
Opening against Bedfordshire, the visitors had the edge in individual players and after a solid start went ahead after two defensive slips.
The hosts made chances, but just couldn't add the finishing touch as Bedfordshire emerged comfortable 4-0 winners.
