PITTSBURGH, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Pittsburgh Pirates Acquisition Inc. announced today that Ken Pollock, of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, has joined the group of investors who are acquiring the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Mr. Pollock brings substantial business experience, and long- standing ties to major league baseball, to the Acquisition Group.

He is director and sole stock holder of Susquehanna Coal Company and Ken L. Pollock, Inc. He has been involved in the mining industry, utilities, oil and gas, real estate, hotels and restaurants.

In addition, Mr. Pollock has a strong commitment to his native Pennsylvania.
