CHARLOTTE, N.C., May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nucor Corporation announced today the pricing of its public offering of 25,000,000 shares of its common stock. The offering was priced at $74.00 per share. Nucor has granted the underwriters an option to purchase up to an additional 3,750,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less the underwriting commission, within 30 days following the closing date. The offering is expected to close on or around May 29, 2008.
Nucor intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, including acquisitions, capital expenditures, working capital needs and repayment of debt. In ...
