Best Co. has affirmed the financial strength ratings (FSR) of A- (Excellent) and issuer credit ratings (ICR) of "a-" of Horace Mann Educators Corporation's (HMEC) (Springfield, IL) (NYSE: HMN) property/casualty group, Horace Mann Insurance Group (Horace Mann), its members and HMEC's life/health insurance company, Horace Mann Life Insurance Company (Horace Mann Life) (Springfield, IL). A.M. Best also has affirmed the ICR of "bbb-" and debt ratings of HMEC. The outlook for all ratings is stable.
