NEW YORK - Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Holt Renfrew have entered into a joint venture to create an exclusive collection of luxury sportswear for their stores at designer prices.
Louis Dell'Olio will design the collection, which will be introduced for fall. His title is design consultant.
"This will be a luxury, high-grade sportswear collection," said Stephen Elkin, chairman and chief executive officer of Bergdorf Goodman. "It will be in luxury fibers and will be manufactured in Italy."
He declined to say who the manufacturer is.
