RETIRED council boss George Redmond walked free from court yesterday after being cleared of taking a IRpounds 10,000 land-deal bribe.
Redmond, 83, was found not guilty of receiving money from the late Fianna Fail councillor Patrick Dunne as a reward for showing favour over the 1980 purchase of nearly 170 acres in North Dublin.
Judge Joseph Matthews was told the 11-person jury could not reach the required majority ...
