CHANCELLOR Alistair Darling is set to make another tax raid on hardpressed families already struggling with sky-high food bills and soaring petrolprices.
According to British Airways, a new green levy will add to their woes, slappinga [pounds sterling]500 surcharge on the average family holiday abroad.
The rise is down to the change from air passenger duty (APD), which is leviedon a individual travellers, to a per plane tax, known as aviation duty.
