CLINTON - Times may be tough, finances may be tight and the Board of Selectmen may have to make some hard decisions this budget season, but the town got some good news Wednesday night, courtesy of State Rep. Harold Naughton Jr. (D-Clinton).
The Clinton Housing Authority has been awarded $18,000 in technical assistance, money that will be used to install a 400-Amp electrical service at the authority's Water Street housing complex.
Meanwhile, $50,000 in additional state funding is on the way. That money will be used to replace rusted out refrigerators and stoves. The town also has a shot at getting a piece of a $500 million ...
