CHARLOTTE, N.C. _ There is still time for Marion Jones to get back on track with her Olympic trials training, but breaking a bone in her left foot for the second time in five months definitely disrupts her schedule.
A junior at North Carolina, Jones took a year off from her starring role on the Tar Heels basketball team to concentrate on the other sport where she's an even bigger star. But her track and field training could only begin after her foot healed from August surgery to insert a screw in a broken bone.
Again, her training will have to wait. Jones had surgery a second time on Jan. 11. This time, a larger screw was inserted after she broke the same ...
