New Joint Venture Company Formed to Solidify Agreement
NEW YORK, Feb. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Minneapolis, Minn.-based Country Inns & Suites By Carlson, one of the fastest growing upper-economy brands in the North American hotel industry, and Cosmopolitan Hotel AG of Dortmund, Germany, today announced the signing of an historic agreement to introduce the Country Inns & Suites brand in the German lodging market. Under the terms of the agreement, 10 hotels will open by mid-1997, with five more scheduled to open every year for the next 20 years throughout the Federal Republic of Germany.
