KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 Asia Pulse - The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad (NSTP) (KLSE:3999) Friday reported a 103.8 per cent jump in first quarter pre-tax profit to RM13.323 million (US$4.2 million) on the back of a 23 per cent rise in advertising revenue.

Including exceptional items, the group recorded a profit after tax of RM13.2 million as compared to RM5.9 million profit previously, the newspaper publisher said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia.
