ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DEC. 27, 1995--CPC International Inc. is asking consumers in the United States to discard Knorr chicken, beef, and fish bouillon cubes with UPC codes 70101, 70102, and 70106. Production codes for these products are embossed on the side of the product carton and begin with the numbers O5, A5, or B5.

Some fine pieces of metal wire were detected by a CPC employee in an ingredient supplied to the company for making bouillon. Production using this ingredient was stopped immediately.
