The presence of the past as alienation: Neo Rauch at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In 2007, the German artist Neo Rauch exhibited a group of paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. "Neo Rauch at the Met: para" marks another step on the ladder of Rauch's entry into contemporary art's hall of fame (http://www.metmuseum.org/ special/neo_raunch/para_images.asp).
