SMILES were back and tails wagging again at the McGrath household in Heacham on Tuesday after its pet dog Oscar, who had been missing for 11 days, came home.
The family, of Rolfe Crescent, got a phone call from a local dog warden that day letting it know that the eight-year-old black and white Shih Tzu was safe and well - in LUTON!
Mum Theresa McGrath phoned the woman who had taken Oscar to her Bedfordshire home then made a 200-mile round trip by car the same evening, with seven-year-old son Oliver, to bring the dog home.
As the Lynn News revealed, Oscar's disappearance on Saturday, May 10, during a grocery delivery, spoiled fourth birthday ...
