BIRMINGHAM, Mich. - Paul Pierce's big Game 7 against Cleveland will go down as one of the most clutch performances in team history, but another Celtic has been the most consistent performer throughout the postseason.
It's Kevin Garnett, no doubt about it.
"He's been a rock," Celtics coach Doc Rivers said.
More like a mountain.
During the regular season, Rivers played Garnett less so he'd be fresher for the playoffs, and that decision has paid off. In the regular season, the 6-foot-11 forward averaged only 32.8 minutes, his fewest since his rookie season of 1995-96 and more than 5 below his career average. ...
