Article: Camps benefit from ACA/U.S. Forest Service memorandum of understanding. (American Camping Association)

The American Camping Association and the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service signed a Service-wide Memorandum of Understanding in December.

The two groups propose to work together to achieve a common goal of increasing public awareness and knowledge of camp opportunities, programs, and projects that may be planned and accomplished on national forest land.

ACA affiliated camps will benefit from the memorandum through the use of Forest Service land resources. The Forest Service benefits from the good stewardship and environmental conservation that is taught in these camps.
