Nursing policy advice in ministry boosted.(NEWS AND EVENTS)(Brief article)

Two new appointments have boosted nursing policy advice within the Ministry of Health. Chief nurse Mark Jones last month announced the appointment of Christine Andrews and Gabrielle Roberts as senior policy advisers for nursing. They began work in their new roles on May 5. Jones said both had strong backgrounds in nursing and policy development.

Andrews joined the Ministry in 2001 as a clinical adviser and in her time at the Ministry has advised on long-term conditions, notably diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
