NZNO's new researcher, Leonie Walker (right), who began work last month, brings a varied research background to her new role. She has a PhD in applied immunology and has workedin the United Kingdom (UK) as an academic laboratory researcher, in applied immunology in hospitals and for ten years in HIV prevention/sexual health promotion, combined with training and practice in traditional Chinese acupuncture.
