NORTHUMBERLAND Tourism has appointed two key personnel ? Caroline Stewart as deputy chief executive and Joanne Dolezal as marketing manager.
Heritage, countryside and tourism are the three prize qualities which constitute the Northumberland brand.
With an aim to lengthen the tourist season, enhance and conserve the county's heritage, Caroline and Joanne's combined objectives are to increase visitor spend and visits throughout the year to Northumberland.
They hope to increase employment, investment and productivity, improve quality standards and develop a more skilled workforce.
