SMJ: Why has there been an increase in the number and size of mining companies operating in the province?

BL: Certainly commodity price increases have attracted many new companies to the province and encouraged existing operating companies to invest in additional capacity expansions. The province's reputation as the world's leading potash and uranium producers has also attracted additional investment; there remains great potential for new discoveries due to favourable geological potential.
SMJ: What does the SMA do to welcome companies to Saskatchewan? Do you have expectations of them, and do they have expectations of you?
