CHICAGO, May 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Northern Trust announced today that its Transition Management service received 18 "Best in Class" rankings in PLANSPONSOR magazine's annual transition management survey, ranking it among the top two providers in the number of awards received. Survey results were based on responses from 621 institutional clients representing approximately US$300 billion in assets transitioned in 2007. Northern Trust received awards in all four survey categories: pre-trade, execution, post-trade, and organization & support.
