On April 10 and 11, TIA Technical Standards Subcommittee (TSSC) and TIA Technical Committee (TC) held quarterly meetings.
During the TSSC meeting, each committee chair provided a report on recent events in their committees. Issues of interest were the imminent publication of the third revision to TIA-568 Commercial Building Wiring standards, the continuing development of a Home Networking over Power Wiring standard, the publication of TIA-1003 Voice over Wireless LAN (VoWLAN) and the development of a joint standard on Commercial Mobile Service Provider's Gateway, as well as many other activities.
