Investment returns elusive for Chongqing Holley after market downturn
Shanghai. June 2. INTERFAX-CHINA - Chongqing Holley Pharm Co. Ltd.
conceded on Saturday that it has failed to meet goals set out in various investment plans over the past few years, attributing such failures to a sluggish artemisinin market.
In August 2003, Chonqing Holley raised RMB 360 million ($51.87 million) to fund a project to expand the company's capacity to extract, process and produce artemisinin, a key ingredient used in the most effective anti-malarial treatments at present.
