Dec. 29--Two competing real estate firms Thursday announced the acquisition of millions of square feet of office and industrial space in the Indianapolis area.
The players, Indianapolis-based Duke Realty Investments Inc. and Denver- based Security Capital Industrial Trust, have seemingly tried to outdo each other during much of the year with acquisitions of office park properties.
Duke Realty, in a newly-formed joint venture with New York's J.P Morgan & Co., Thursday completed the purchase of 25 industrial buildings totaling 2.25 million square feet, primarily in Park 100 Business Park on the city's Northwest side.
