Clinton sweeps Puerto Rico: US media
New York, Jun 2 (PTI) Striving to salvage her claim of more "popular vote" than rival Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton was on course to win the democratic primary in Puerto Rico by a wide margin, US media projected.
In what was expected to contribute meaningfully to her last-ditch efforts for the Democratic presidential nomination, Clinton was leading frontrunner Obama by over a 2-1 margin at about 30 per cent of precincts reporting, CNN said.
The exit polls conducted by the channel had said that Clinton swept Obama in every major demographic group including groups the latter generally won, such as younger ...
