SEOUL, June 3 Asia Pulse -- Poongsan Corp., a South Korean supplier of non-ferrous metals and defense products, said Tuesday that its shareholders approved a plan to split Poongsan into a holding company and two operating companies to boost investor interest and improve its corporate structure.
The plan was approved at the extraordinary shareholders' meeting held on May 29, Poongsan said in a regulatory filing.
