Cement stocks fall after govt ban exports
New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) Shares of most of the cement companies today fell on the stock market, following the government's decision to ban the export of the construction material.
The scrips of Ambuja Cement fell by 3.61 per cent at Rs 117.60, while ACC declined by 0.22 per cent at Rs 812.60 and UltraTech dipped by 1.83 per cent at Rs 790.10 at the Bomaby Stock Exchange.
Shares of J K Lakshmi Cements, India Cement, Mysore Cement, Mangalam Cement also declined.
However, the Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark index ended at 15,807.64, a gain of 112.54 points over its previous close.
