Context The field of radiologic technology is in a transition period between the traditional film-based model and the digital-based model.
Objective To determine the extent to which educational programs accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) are providing digital imaging-specific education.
Methods A survey regarding digital imaging instruction was administered electronically to program directors of 289 JRCERT-accredited educational programs in the United States.
