YOUNGSTERS who used websites such as Bebo to brag about drink, drugs andviolence have been targeted in a major police crackdown on anti-socialbehaviour.
Nearly 200 children - some as young as 12 - were quizzed after posting film andphotographs of themselves breaking the law on the social networking sites.
In an 'intrusive and robust' operation, Central Scotland Police officersvisited their homes to challenge them about their use of the internet in frontof their shocked parents.
The crackdown comes amid mounting fears over abuse of the web by pupils who useit to record their crimes, bully or attack classmates and humiliate teachers.
