CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 1996--SAS Institute today announced its membership to the MetaData Coalition, an industry association formed to develop standards for synchronizing and accessing metadata in data warehouse environments.
In this context, SAS Institute will make its wide experience in the areas of generating, storing, exploiting and maintaining metadata, gained at several hundred successful data warehousing implementations worldwide, available to the other members of the MetaData Coalition.
