Your employees are great here's how to keep them on your team.(marketingmechanics)

One of the contractors I work with has built a great system to retain employees. This particular company hasn't laid anyone off in slower times for the past 25 years. (It has fired some for cause). In addition, the company tries very hard to give employees close to 40 hours of pay even in slower times. These policies have created one of the greatest recruiting tools for the company. Employees feel they have job security. The company gets many, many resumes from people working for companies who don't pay enough hours or lay off people in slower times. When someone leaves or retires, or when it needs another employee, this company has many people who want to come to work for it.
