Commerce, Calif.- Danfield, a 25-year-old leather finishing company, will introduce EcoHides, an exclusive line of ecologically friendly hides, at this week's Showtime fabric show in High Point.
EcoHides will be shown at LTM Textile Resources, Suites at Market Square, space 1-1049.
At its tannery in South America and its finishing plant here, Danfield uses natural colorants, vegetable dyes and waxes to create what it says is a pliable leather with a soft hand.
Unlike conventional tanning techniques, EcoHides uses no minerals or metals during the tanning process, ...
