Adrian Beltre has hit 13 home runs this season, tied for third in the American League.
Of the 13, three came over the weekend - two Friday night against Detroit and another Sunday afternoon.
So what does Beltre think of his stroke right now?
"Right now, I feel like I stink," Beltre said with a sad shake of his head. "I've got to do better."
Beltre wasn't talking about home runs, per se. He was talking about singles, doubles and even triples - the hits he hasn't gotten.
The third baseman is batting .244. He hit just .189 in May, however, and despite an uptick in power - seven homers and 15 RBIs, both Mariners highs ...
