THIS is the 21st century vision for Hayling's Beachlands with a new marine-themed complex incorporating 100 luxury flats overlooking the seafront, entertainment venues such as restaurants and cafes plus a futuristic funfair.
And at the centre of the new seaside attraction will be a 50-foot tall glass tower, which would absorb solar rays during the day, before turning into a multi-coloured light beam in the evening, when the area would become a magnet for Islanders as well as visitors.
