AMBITIOUS plans to create a legion of entrepreneurs offering contact centre services from their homes have been unveiled by Creative Sheffield.
The city development company's Digital Home Working initiative aims to help individuals to set up their own call handling businesses.
Creative Sheffield will provide investment funding, start-up advice, skills training, infrastructure and professional call handling equipment. The organisation will shortly be seeking an experienced customer service, call centre or telemarketing company that has the technology and expertise to link callers with queries to people in their Sheffield homes who have the answers.
