NEW YORK -- The New York Times and 96.3 FM WQXR announced today the launch of a new weekly book program "Inside The New York Times Book Review" with host Sam Tanenhaus, the editor of the Book Review. The 15-minute show will start on Friday, June 6 and air every Friday at 6:05 p.m. on WQXR FM and be available online at WQXR.com. The program will feature highlights from that Sunday's Book Review including interviews with distinguished authors, a "Notes From The Field" essay by reporter Rachel Donadio, and a Q. and A. between senior editor Dwight Garner and Mr. Tanenhaus on best-seller news. A podcast of the show will be available on NYTimes.com.
