You know you've made it when it becomes a bigger deal if you don't win the state championship than if you do.
Such was the realization of Lakeside senior Davis Mangham after he cruised to his third consecutive 3A state singles title May 24 at the Kennewick Tri-City Court Club.
"It's definitely like I don't have a whole lot to prove anymore," he said.
During the past three years, Mangham has posted a near-flawless high school record, going undefeated and dropping only one set in more than 60 matches.
