Chongqing Sanxia Paints Co., Ltd. (Chongqing Sanxia, SZ: 000565) has recently announced that the 50 000 t/a natural gas based glycine project of its subsidiary Sanxia Yingli Chemical Co., Ltd. (Sanxia Yingli) has achieved major advances. The project was started wet commissioning on February 16th, more than 14 tons of glycine was already produced in one production line by the end of April and the product quality reached the design requirements. Debugging is also being conducted to other production lines. (CCR2007, No. 34)
