SEATTLE, Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Westin Hotels & Resorts is ending its 12-year association with the ANA Hotel, Washington, D.C. and will become a franchise partner with The Grand Hotel, which will be renamed The Westin Hotel, Washington, D.C., effective February 1, 1996.

The ANA Hotel, Washington, D.C. will be operated and marketed by ANA Hotels, International. Westin built and opened the hotel in 1985 as The Westin Hotel, Washington, D.C. When Westin sold the hotel to All Nippon Airways in 1990, it was re-named the ANA Hotel. Westin managed the property until 1994 and has since provided marketing support through a representation agreement.
