Punj Lloyd plans bidding for combat weapon howitzer
New Delhi, June 6 (PTI) Engineering and construction firm Punj Lloyd today announced its entry into the country's lucrative defence market saying it would jointly bid for Army's estimated 800 million dollar contract for combat support weapon 155MM howitzers with Singapore-based firm ST Kinetics.
"We are preparing to bid for the manufacturing ultralightweight Howitzers for the Indian Army. The bidding is expected to start later this month," Punj Lloyd Group Chairman Atul Punj told reporters here today.
