Online photo ordering in the United States showed no signs of weakness in 2007, according to PMA Marketing Research. After a slow early period, online photo service companies saw a jump in demand in 2005, when the number of households with digital cameras and high-speed Internet connections in the United States surpassed the critical 20 percent threshold. Then, in 2006, came the coupling of online ordering with retail pickup.
