Norwegian company Eitzen Maritime Services ASA (OSE:EMS) announced on Monday (9 June) that it has agreed to acquire the Dubai-based maritime services provider Seven Seas Shipchandlers LLC for USD115m.
Seven Seas Shipchandlers supplies merchant and naval vessels in the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Djibouti, and reported sales of USD192.5m in 2007.
The acquisition and merger of the operations will create the world's largest ship supplier with operations in more than 60 ports ...
