Jun 09, 2008 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australia's Macquarie Group is one of several groups bidding for a toll road lease in the US. The lease is over Florida's Alligator Alley, a 125-kilometre, four-lane road. The Florida Department of Transportation has revealed that numerous groups have made a bid, ahead of the shortlisting by 30 June 2008. The lease could be for between 50 and 75 years.
