A FORMER babysitter who admitted abusing eight children in his care to "satisfy his sexual desires" has been jailed for 12 years and ordered to sign the police sex offenders' register for life.
Downpatrick Crown Court heard that Kevin Carville (49) had committed "a breach of trust" when he abused the eight children who were aged between five and 14-years-old on dates between 1978 and 1990.
Carville of Liscorran Court, Lurgan, abused four boys and four girls from the one family in their home and his flat in Castlewellan, Co Down.
